Guilford County Cost Savings: Register of Deeds Helps!

The Register of Deeds office returned an Deputy ROD position to the County this week. That position will save Guilford County government about $50,000 this year.

While I generally agree that efforts toward efficiencies are important, three key priorities should drive the County efforts- technology enhancement in line with work flow transformation, employee cross training, and promoting the internal capacity for county administration to evaluate performance driven data in County Departments. These three priorities in developing efficiencies have helped our office as we continue to refine business processes and promote customer service.
