BB and T of Boone and Parker Titile of Winston-Salem hosted a CPE/CLE Seminar last Wednesday. Jerry Woodard with Business Information Systems (BIS) and I went through the basics of E-Recording in North Carolina. There were about 60 title searchers, paralegals, and attorneys in attendence. This was a great opportunity to field questions and hear benefits/concerns regarding this initiative in North Carolina.
Mortgage Fraud and Identity Theft were also issues discussed during the event. I’m the green thing in the front.
